Curated experiences Structured conversation Community building Leadership & education Hartford CT + worldwide

After years of traveling internationally — across cultures, borders, and languages — one thing stayed constant everywhere: the table. No matter the country, the language, or the circumstance, food brought people together in a way that led to real community. It was the one universal.

"The table is the oldest forum. Everywhere I traveled, it was the one place where strangers became neighbors."

Then came the aftermath of Covid. Connection dropped to an all-time low. People were physically close but far from one another. Malcolm saw what was missing — and knew what could bring it back. Dinner & Discourse was built on the same foundation his family always relied on: people, conversation, and food, in the same room, fully present with each other.

Over the past two years, Dinner & Discourse has grown from intimate gatherings into a platform that works across communities — from Black women celebrating resilience to high school students learning AI, from Brooklyn art spaces to London dinner parties. The format changes. The purpose doesn't.
